Yesterday was a bit chilly, 27 degrees. This picture was taken by the bay at Corn Hill. What looks like sea foam here is really snow left on the beach! Maybe the water comes up and freezes. True to New England weather, today is much warmer - 50 degrees F. The rain and wind has washed away the snow.
This morning Alison, who has lived here with her family forever, took Lucy, the Standard Poodle, Iggy, Torrey and I for a brisk walk through the woods and onto this bluff overlooking the Atlantic. Years ago, Alison was married here when the bluff stuck out 30 more feet than now. She cleared the brush the week before her marriage for the guests as it's a bit of a hike to that spot. Hurricane Bob hit the week before.
